Just bought a 2000 Lightning - is there a positive difference by changing tio a larger rear wheel?

Also - how much difference is there between the millenium special edition 1 of 200 and the bike that I just bought, I have a V&H exhaust and a race chip.

Any help would be appreciated. I used to run Nortons in the 70´s and this bike reminds me a bit of my old commando
