First aquired 2000, grey imported with 4000 miles,
next after 1998 Suzuki TL 1000 S.
comparisons only outweighed S1 Lightning by 2 points
1-speed!! Buell S1=210 Kmh (124.3 mph)
(that also includes a downsizing of
rear pully- taking it from 160 Kmh (94.67 Mph)
up to the 210 pointer.)
2-reliabilty. cost me R12500.00 (rands) ($1250.00)(2001)
to replace the crank shaft.
NO-the journel was fine... the flywheel hub
chowed the shaft spline by 50%...

but folks the Buell out corners...our wheelies... out smarts
the handeling of the unforgetable TL-S by ´miles´.
the bonus is i picked up 80% more chicks than i could´ve with
the TL-S.
underline.... you either hate it or love it.till then don´t knock it.
