I have a 2002 Buell Blast that is in the shop. I am getting all sorts of stories from the mechinic and want to see if I canĀ“t get some clarification from some people who know these bikes specifically. Do you have to remove the exhaust to get at the primary cover? Can you tell if the studs for the exhaust are cross threaded on the exhaust side of the biek without removing the nuts? Can you tell if the studs for the exhaust are cross threaded on the engine side if they are not removed? How hard is it to replace those studs? How long does it take to remove the primary cover? I am sure they are quoting me an hours worth of time because that is their minimum but how long does it actually take? Does anyone know a good shop for Buells in the S.F. Bay Area? thanks Houston |
