I am buying a used 2000 blast with 380 miles on it from a girl at work for my parents. they want a small bike and swear they will ride again before they die, i figure better at 55 than 85. the girl says she forgot to turn the gas off before last winter and believes the carb is gummed up. when i checked the oil it did not read and i was told it took a few minutes of running to register. my question is, why will it not start . . . bad plug; gummed carb; or is there some type of oil safety thing that won´t let it start due to low oil, if oil is even low since i can´t get it to run and check it as i was instructed. any help would be appreciated.
