To cut the pipe, you will be looking the muffler from the rear, and cut it with a cutoff tool so that the pipe on the right hand side has the cut and bend it over to the left as far as you can - if you do it right you can see the hole about mid way into the exhaust about the middle. Caution: the bike will be much louder!
