I bought my ´02 Blast with 200 miles on it 2 years ago. Now closing in on 3000 miles and have had zero trouble other than a minor clutch play adjustment at 1500 miles the dealer did for free. It´ll never set a new speed record, but a fun bike to ride. The 1 incredibly minor issue I have is the tires need to have air added almost every week. Sorry you got a bad one...mine´s been great...and the girls love it!!
