Africa Crossing On 1960 R50 In 1973

In 1973 I bought a 1960 BMW R50 in City Park Campsite in Nairobi Kenya for $300. It was the first bike I ever rode. I drove it through East Africa, Central Africa, West Africa, across the Sahara alone in Summer, and eventually through Europe and then across America from NYC to Seattle. I still ride the bike frequently and there´s only been minor work done on it but it still runs great. I´d be interested in hearing if anybody else crossed Africa on any type BMW.
