Try pale blue as base colour, then keep adding maroon until it´s pretty close, if you go too dark at this stage just add yellow to lighten it up a bit. Add some iron filings for the metallic effect (stir well) and brush on using a 2" brush (best to test an area on the fairing at this stage just to be sure). Wipe off any splashes whilst wet or you will have to use paint stripper later and that stuff is messy! If you are going to take the bike outside, watch out for rust forming on the iron filings, best to give the whole thing a coat of yacht varnish to weatherproof. Tip: white goes well with blue, may I suggest a good quality whitewash on the wheels to set the whole thing off. Good luck!
