Dear all

My name is Wayne and I am from South Africa. I am about to become the proud owner of a R27. I just have one question: is there a way to determine the correct year of manufacture? On the SA registration system, the bike was registered as a rebuild on 01.01.96. I know it os a R27 as it has rubber engine mounts and the matching engine and frame numbers reside within the range of R27 engine / frame numbers. For providence reasons i would still like to know the actual year it was built. Can anybody help?
