I´m in the process of buying a beautiful low-mileage red 1999 ST4 with gold frame and bags (I believe all 1999s had the gold-colored trellis frame and color-matching bags).

I live in Massachusetts. My next step is insurance coverage. Is there a preferred/best insurance carrier that you can recommend?

The bike is missing its owner´s manual. Can you suggest a source for the 1999 owner´s manual and shop guide?

Also if there are some concerns re: dealer preparation issues or concerns. I am buying from a BMW dealer who claims their mechanics can prep and service a Ducati. I´m a bit leary about their ability to assure the bike is road worthy from the start.
