Love my bike. had a gsx750 prior and the ducati has more charisma, presence, excitement, fun and pleasure than the bamboo stick.
it is not a perfect bike, but that is what makes it great. Clutch is heavy around London (I heard that there is a retro to slow down arthritis), seating position is not nice if you are tall and it guzzles of you punish it.
I was worried when I vought the supersport that the bike would give me problems. I almost had it for a year now and I have not had any problems except a flat battery when I left the parking light on for a while.
it is the most pleasure I ever got without a woman beside me. Infact it is even better. it does not sulk, it is always up for a ride, it never complains, never has a headache and it gives great pleasure. and i have not mentioned about having someone else joining us . . . but that is another story.
