Just picked up a friends bike from the Impound it was stolen from a storage unit they recovered the bike when the thief ran out of gas. Most of the side panels are removed and the odometer. The gas cap tumbler was drilled out. My friend moved cross country so i am trying to get it street legal again. Trying to figure out as much as possible about it. The thief improvised a toggle switch ignition. So, it does run. Does anyone know of a cheap gas cap. I think my buddy has most of the parts. He is filing for a lost title. Any advice? I found a small cable like my sony camcorder charger, and a telephone plug think they are for odometer. just some velcro over the gas cap. Also, there is a mute switch under the seat perhaps alarm? It has an indicator for on little green light. Looks like a cigarette lighter . Also, the trickle charger adapter is still there. Do they make universal adapters? Unknown milage. I havenĀ“t seen the key except helmet locks, and fork locks. Think its on the left side behind the motor? He has the key. I was going to check a locksmith about a new tumbler.
