PURCHASED A NEW ´68 ELECTRAGLIDE IN MARCH OF 1968 FOR $2,255.00, SPARKLING BURGANDY!!GREAT BIKE, BUT PROBLEMS WITH WIRING SHORTS, AND STARTER SOILENOID, REPLACED A LOT. FIRST YEAR WITHOUT FACTORY KICK STARTER. WRINKLE PAINT WAS A MESS!!! WHEN YOU WAXED THE BIKE!!!IF YOU OWNED A HARLEY IN THOSE YEARS, IT USALLY SPENT MORE TIME IN THE SHOP, THEN ON THE ROAD!! YOU ALWAYS NEED A FRIEND TO PICK YOU UP, WHEN IT BROKE DOWN!!!
