Please check your engine specifications. There is no such thing as a ´56 Knucklehead engine. They were built last in 1947 and did certainly not have the panhead valve covers that you have on your ´56 bike. They had the knucklehead covers that gave them theit name, since they look a little like knuckles. Good luck with your beautiful bike! Dan
