i own a 2002 tsport and living in East london South Africa have just done a 2500 mile tour of mozambique on my bike it was supremely comfortable an absolutely great engine which is very quiet and powerful and used no oil at all the suspension is great with its balance of good roadholding and comfort when set up properly the brakes are also great with the twin caliper twin discs in front whilst the adjustable screen gave good protection i am a 57 year old business owner who has been riding for 40 years and thus well qualified to make these comments some of my previous bikes have been a 1997 ulta classic which was too heavy for me but a bit underpowered and slow but was the usual great harley quality and gave no problems i have also owned a kawasaki 1500 classic from new and kept it for 20000 miles these bikes are about half the price of the HD equivalents in South Africa and it shows...... a good motor except for the radiator mountings that kept on breaking and the quality of materials is just not the same the metal parts tarnish and start rusting very quickly paticularly the frame with its untidy welding and paper thin coat of paint and..... no resale value harleys instead in SA hold their value very well have also owned several BMWs which is the top selling big bike in SA great bikes but lack soul snd character greetings from SOUTH AFRICA
