I have never owned a Harley & currently trying to decide which model would be best. I don´t want a big bike. I seem to really be drawn to the Softail & Special Construction. I really like the way the bike looks. I just am not sure how good those models are. I have my eye on a 2001 Softail thru a prvt. party. 13,500 mi., lots of crome, cams, gear drive, Edelbrock carb, Screamin Eagle pipes, 2" tank lift. Asking $14,500. The owner is 53 yrs old & has been riding bikes for 30 yrs. He seems to be very knowledgeable. He has done alot of work to the bike. It is super clean. Dark blue in color w/ lots of chrome. The bike really shines nice. I plan on getting the engine looked at by a professional to make sure it is ok. I just don´t know if that is a fare price if everything checks out ok. Any feedback/suggested would be appreciated. Thanx, Matt
