Recently bought a ducati monster s4 for my girlfriend, had it for a month and have noticed it runs fairly hot, in traffic after a long journey it overheats and has cut out on her, it runs at between 150-160 on the temp auge on the open road and then sores through to 190 in traffic or slow moving. What is the normal running temperature for this bike?
The fan doesn´t appear to be coming on at slow speeds, which would lead me to thik that there´s a problem with either the thermostat or the engine temp switch. Is this a common problem or can anybody shed any light?
