If you can control your right hand it´s allright to get one. It´s got a lot of torque so it can be tricky when cornering, especially when wet. Roadholding capacity is great and it seems to be reliable so far. It´s not cheap and needs far more attention then a rice-cooker (a Jap that is) but you get great value for money, as far as i´m concerned. Brakes are great, as well as the sound (get a pair of carbon Termignoni´s) and handling is phenomenal. I love it. But to be honest, it´s not really a beginner´s bike. A 620 will give you as much fun, but is easier to handle.
