this bike is geared with 15 front sprocket and a 41 rear sprocket
at 65 mph the rpm is at 4k thats good. But probable not so good for firt gear take off it;s like with out 3k and slip clutch it jerks. Is the clutch slave a part that leaks and stops leaking
is ther a hole it leaks from. Valve lash I removed covers and did a check the opening is at .006 and closing is at .001 I removed the rocker arm keeper to mic the disk the the lobe interfered, the timing belt still in time not removed so I did not go any forther this bike as 10697 miles. Some Ducati owner don;t ride the bike nowing the time is near to replace belts and adjust valves. I pull timing covers and inpec belts I now by looking at the belt that not a true indication of condition but this look verly good cocks not wearn on ether sides there is white dots on belts and on cam gears thay have been replace at one time. This bike idle at 1500 rpm I have not atemp to adjust carbs. All in all the bike performs well but need to look into this ussue. Thanks
