2001 gas gas 300ec transmission problem

2001 gas gas 300ec transmission problem

My 2001 gas gas 300ec transmission locked up on me going down the road in fifth gear and I went to put it in neutral and first gear and neutral was not to be found. I got it started back in second gear but when I shift to third locks back up every time so had to ride back to the house in second gear. I haven’t tore into it yet just looking for some advise and where to start
