I have a Ducati Monster Dark (2002), lovely bike... beautiful.. but, why you cannot use aftermarket parts from other Ducati Monsters? I am trying to get new cans, and according to two dealers: termignonis for this model can only be steel (I want carbon) and other brands (Scorpion and Viper) do only have models for the 600, not the dark

As far as I am concerned, the dark has only few cut corners when compared to the 600 (mainly forks are not adjustable, the frame is painted black instead of gun, and it doe not have a seat cowler. that´s all) the engine is the same, so the exhaust system should not have changed...

any ideas of why is this? or where can I get a pair of carbon oval exhaust for my baby?

Thanks to all.. and congrats for choosing such a classic gorgeous looking bike... true, it is not a Honda, but I would,t swap mine for a CBR in a million years
