Getting her started |

I own my Mk IV #164 for half a year now and I can share some starting experiences. The battery must be completely charged. Otherwise the engine won´t reach enough rpm. In that case I need the car battery for assistance. I alwayse adjust full choke, but no throttle. After she has come alive with her thrilling rumble, I let her warm up for about a minute at full choke (2500 rpm). After that she operates properly with no choke. |
