PCV and blow by issues

My 2000 R6 has been bored to a 636cc. It has a lot of miles on it, like 23,000. any way, the shop that did the job was pretty shady, I´m not sure exactly what they did to the PCV, but they ran a rubber hose from where the stock pcv comes out of the cases all the way to the tail of the bike, and capped the hose with what looks like an air filter for a cruiser! So now the bike has a lot of what seems to be blow-by. and smokes out of the tail end when I´m sitting at a stop light. it sucks. anybody got suggestions on how eliminate the prob.thanks
