no i havenĀ“t heard of that happening and the advice i would give you is to get rid of the frame, unless its cracked in non-structual areas IE pegs holder and the light holder area lugs. The frame wont handle the heat that generally has to be put back to fix it. It is also hollow section tube and if its cracked up near the haed stock it will be distorted and you wont be able to fit the head races and bearings back in. If in doubt ask a wrecker or a frame straightner. cheers, good luck.
