I am interested in that very much myself, my last bike of 8 total over the years was Vance & Hines FZR 600 and my time on that @NMRA bike nationals with it stock was 12.3 consistently, thats street trim, I beat the #1 points standing rider for that year on his trick GSXR 750 loaded and fully sponsored to make 1/4 finals! I just got my 2000 r6 recovered and running from Vegas where whoever owned it wrecked real bad. After figuring out where the fuel valve was located, I turned it on and it fired right up flawlessly. My plans are to ride the %!¤ out of it and along the way 1/4 mile race it, around here that is all they really have, and I imagine that bike will pull into the 10 second range with little trouble to speak of. A NOS kit I looked into and plan on having is $550 dollars, so for just over $1000 dollars I will be flirting with 9 second 1/4 mile runs at 150 mph! Understand I realize more likely I will be able to hit the 10s at around 135 to 140 mph but all in all I can hardly wait. I will post up with pictures and slips from my local track to get the facts straight. So till then keep it real, and for anyone with their newer bike and big budget I welcome the race through any canyon or back street around, come one come all, I don´t mind second place, but more than anything I hope you´re ok with it? I ride for the love of it, not to look good! I give a crap less how it looks hell my entire fairing is held together with gorilla and duct tape, everything else works just fine!
