The engine of my 1993 888 was built to SPO specs with Cosworth pistons and V2 cam & kit, and had been reliable for a couple years. Then while exiting a corner, the oil light flickered and the engine began producing a jingling noise.
That was Sept 2000. and the bike has been parked ever since, as other projects got in the way of the suspected high cost of repairing the 888 - which still mystifies me, as I do not know what broke.
Has anyone got any ideas?
