just turning the bike off will let you easily put the bike in 1st...has to do with the clutch spinning ..once it stops ( shutting motor) the gear will engage easy..also if the bike is rolling, 1st gear will engage easier. i work at a ducati shop ( just recently ) and am trying to get an explanation and or a fix...they say \
