| I got my BMW 1150 R with 7 weeks delay at end of May 2001. It is a marvelous bike, perfect for me (185cm, 110kg). The first service at 1000km was late, I did the reservation at delivery (as soon as possible) but had already 2200km 4 week later for the service. I lost the gear lever at 7500km ???!! I heard the same from other users, strange. The gas consumption is about 6.5-7.0/100km. Switching from 1st to 2nd gear is not always working (neutral). I ordered the following options: ABS : Perfect for me Speedstar Windshield : Good to 160 km/h 12V Socket: (For my GPS III) I would do the same again. |
