I have a ´84 Pantah 600 which has a gearbox problem. Most of the time it does not want to change into second and just goes into neutral.When it does this a lot of the time it is also difficult to get it into first as well.When i can get it into second it will go through the rest of the gears very well. I´ve had it looked at by a local Ducati specialist twice but the problem persists. The mechanic had the gall to suggest it might be my technique, but I´ve ridden many differing types of road and trail bikes and never had a problem.
Any help and advice would be appreciated.
