Clutch slippage

Has anyone else experienced clutch slippage at high revs in low gears? When I accelerate very hard sometimes I get loss of power shortly before red lining. Can only think this can be the clutch not holding. I have a 2000 Falco with original clutch - done about 11,000 miles.
