I own a 1978 350 Sport Desmo. Very fascinating bike, great looks - typical 70s Cafe bike - but poor engine. Too heavy, not L-shaped, not enough power. But when I first bought it, 20 years ago, riding it made me feel like I was in heaven. Today, several Japs and a BMW later, with only 200 pieces made it´s still a bike that´s nice to have: one knows he´s the only guy in town, probably in the country, to own one. I called Ducati HQ for a spare part and they told me they estimate that less than 10 are still on the road. Made me want to park my R1200C and ride my good old teenager dream a bit more.
