I traded my ZX9R for a 2001 RSV Mille R and haven´t look back once. The feel and handling is the best of anything I´ve ridden and at 42 years old and been riding since I was 14, I ridden alot of bikes. My friend has a 95 Ducati 916 and is a back rack compared to the Aprilia and the RSV motor pulls much stronger all across the revs. Every time I ride my Mille I like it even more. The only complaint I´ve got is my friends that ride with me don´t like the "popping type sound" of the exhaust, they´re used to 4 cylinder bikes and it intimidates them.
So impressed with Aprilia´s bikes, my friend bought an RS250 (2 stroke V twin challenge bike) and we put lights on it and ride it on the street. Talk about getting glares & stares, we turned more heads than a screwdriver. Aprilia builds some awesome machines and I recommend to anyone that´s given a chance to test ride or ride a friends Aprilia, try it so that you can see what your missing.
