Mine is a bit hard to open as well and the key doen´t go all the way in, its not ment to. Just push the cap in while giving it a gentle twist, if that doesn´t work take the whole cap assenbly out of the tank and take it to a lock smith. I new tank it totaly not needed and mega expensive.
