Awesome bike, great handling, smooth power delivery with top end punch. Bought new in 1996 one of the last available at end of its production run(didn´t like the way Yamaha were going with the Thundercat and Thunderace) traded my foxeye Fzr600R. Dropped forks through 10mm stiffened rear up and away we went, added Harris c/fibre exhaust rear hugger and rear sets + braided hoses. Owned till 2013 took her to Australia when we moved over in 2002. Broke my heart when I sold her, but with a young family I didn´t get out much, never had a single problem with her. Ran and handled like a dream on any normal road could keep up with anything only lost out to more modern equip on long straights. Ohlins shock meant she handled rougher road conditions well and often left mates on Blades and Gxr´s in our wake. Will always remember her. |
