I love reliable and userfriendly bikes. That is why I have my XT 600E. I had XT than VF750 Magna,and now I am on XT again!!
It has bulletproof engine. I have been driven this bike from Washington DC to Florida with me and my girlfriend on board,havy loaded, we made 4000 miles in 30 days and I did not have any problem. Only chain tightening.....I have 1993 model. I would like to give you a little advice about starting it after long time. There is a screw on the buttom of one of carbs. Losen this screw, let the gas go out for five seconds tighten it again, then pull the choke out and start it. It schoul be OK than.
