Stock as it can be, I put on 4500 miles the first two weeks I got it. Went to a wedding on the east coast from NM and back.

Was wondering about any strange noises any of you may or may not be hearing from the Transmission, especially in fourth gear between 1500 and 2000 RPM. I read something about Back-Cut gears. Could this be causing my high pitched Whirling noise?

Beyound that, it´s a fun Sport Touring machine. Handled great everywhere I went on my last trip - even The Tail of the Dragon near Deal´s Gap, NC. Next week I´m riding to Oakland (on business) and then back home through the Sierra´s 3 or 5 times. At least 3.
