kick it softly until you are at top of the stroke i.e.(the compression will be solid and kickstarter up then engage decompression lever & softly kick down 1 click on kickstart,disengage decomp leaver let kickstart rise to top agen (cold choke on ,no throttle and one good kick, mine goes 1st go even after 3 weeks offshore. good to put new plug in also. do not use the red choke as its a hot start. never used it ever.
