I am getting ready to put Krauser crash bars on my bike. I see where the bottom attaches to a bolt that also goes through the frame. Is it safe to remove the nut and put the crash bar on while the bike is on the center stand? Just don´t want everything to unravel into a useless pile; perhaps a little paranoid about it all, but just wondered. Thanks. Yes, this is what happens when you get OLD, you tend to second guess yourself. On everything.
