All,
I have a 98 R1200C with 8K miles. I am the original owner. For the
last year or so, I have noticed a significant hike in gas
consumption. My bike does around 38MPG. Though, I never actually
measured it before, I am sure it used to do around 50 before.
I have had it serviced, new tires, etc.

Has anyone else noticed any problems like this? How many MPG do you
get?

Any thoughts? I am not concerned about the cost of gas, rather if
this is indicative of a bigger issue with the bike that I should get
fixed.
