| The rear brake on the 2001 series r1150rt activates the front brakes also,this system was found by BMW that it could have a better system and most rt riders would agree.In 2002 Bmw introduced a new brakeing system on the rt.If you activate the front brake on the 2002 model the rear brake will work also,but if you activate the rear brake it only works the rear brake.I own a R1150RT 2001 model, but after riding the 2002~03 model i found the braking system better.
