I have owned a R80/7 and a R100/7. Both are excellent bikes. I rode the R80 from MN to OR and back. The R80 has less vibration of the two. The R100/7 came standard with NO fairing. I had one installed when I purchased it. I´ll take the 1978 R100/7 over a new BMW anyday. It´s lighter (427 lbs) and more reliable. Plus, I prefer the styling. I also have a R1150 and a GS 1200. |
