i´ve had Erna, my 1977 (built in september of 1976) R-100/7 for 20 years. i´ve only had 2 other bikes: a kawasaki 750 and a ´91 copasaki 1000. i liked the police bike, but i would never trade Erna for anything. i´ll be riding her until i can´t anymore....

i do 90% of the maintenance myself and really enjoy working on her. Erna is in amazingly excellent condition and i want to keep her that way.

a question i have is, how often should we change the 90 weight gear oil in the transmission and final drive?
