I have had mine since 1984. I have travelled for up to 6 weeks at a stretch adn driven up to 20 hours at a stretch stopping only as long as it took to fuel. The bike handles very well ( I am usually 2 up) adn I have run it right up on the speedometer. Most of the issues that were plaguing this model in teh electrical boards earrly on have been resolved and it is now a very good handling comfortable touring bike with solid sport capabilities.I placed 4th in a road race against a field of 95 bikes in 1995. I was the only bike in the top 10 with a passenger. I will likely not sell it until I stop riding. I am 49 and have been riding since I was 12. I have logged over 500,000 miles on teh highway in that time-not all on this bike:).
