The 77 R100RS all have drum rear brakes as they left the factory
NOT a rear disc which did not come until during the 1980s.

The top speed as stated of only 193 kmh appears somewhat slow
compared to what the bikes are able to do. My unmodified 77 R100RS
has been clocked on a closed course at just over 200 kmh.
