Need a good all round motorcycle that does not break. Keep the tyres at the correct pressure, oil changed often in all places, full of petrol, tappets properly adjust, carburators balanced, aircleaner serviced and yuo have the most underated bike ever. Ride it all day long, wet or fine in comfort and safety. Bad points are front brakes being only a single disc that fade under heavy braking carrying payload. Have travelled several times more that 600 km on a tankfull of 91 fuel. Less under head winds or heavy throttle use over 100 KPH. Had over 20,000 kms out of a set of tyres. Prefer to ride the PD than my R1100 RT piglet Cheers Mike the Bike |
