Just found this site, and will delve further. I had a higher 5th gear (and lower 1st) installed in my R100 GSPD To help me stay up with highway traffic, seems most like 80mph + here in Illinois. I´m used to that speed on my 2011 R1200 GSA, about my limit, especially with that new cable fence, 3ft. away, sometimes in the medium strip.!@#$ My question, Do you think it long term ok, running my bike over the 4,200 rpm to get to 70 mph? No doubt safer, but don´t like the flow of traffic on my left..
