I recently purchased a 1981 BMW R100RS, or so I thought! On the steering head frame it clealy is stamped R100CS. The fairing is definitely RS! The rear brake is drum or expanding as did all CS models; I believe all RS models had disc brake on the rear.
So what do I have? A modified CS or were the same frames used for both models?
Can you help me out?
