If your problem is low end throttle response and backfire, Polaris told me that the full injection system needs a minimum of 12.5 volts to work properly. Put your amp gauge on your bike and leave it idle. If it´s like mine, it will go around 12 volts. With the new Vegas style ignition in my ´00 Sports Cruiser, at an idle I´m putting out 14 volts. This took away my backfire and improved my throttle response. I done it taking a chance, but I felt like it was worth a try seeing as how I didn´t even have the minimum voltage for proper system operation. Perhaps that will give you some help.
