I currently ride a 98 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500, and now have a possible opportunity to buy a 2000 K1200LT. I´ve always wanted a BMW from a friend who does his own maint on it and is very reputable and knowledgeable about the bike. It has 36k on it and is in excellent condition. I haven´t read any of these threads but I will to school me up on the pros n cons of this bike. I would like any input on the bike you can offer. Thank you and I look forward to this group.
