Picked up my Heritage in May of 04. Sofar I like it to the point that my Ultra may be in danger of being sold. Being of short stature I dislike "tippy toeing" the ultra around. Both feets flat on the ground is comfortaing. Prior to pickup I had the dealer install the ´95 kit, performance heads, 6-speed tranny & SE-204 cam with Vance & Hines Long Shots. Dyno´d at 99.39 HP & 107.5 lb. ft´ torque. Largest drawback has been in cornering. Simply put, they don´t. Live with it. Recently installed Progressing Airtail rear suspension. Sill figgering out how to set it but so far I like it. On our latest ride, 200 miles plus, it was the best so far. But even the best suspension can´t make up for crappy roads. Also replaced the front springs with Progressive. So it handels great. The detachable tourpack has help on long rides. Amazed at how much you can actually put in there. |
